Recently I learned of a man in Turkey who was born with no eyes. He had never seen the light of day, the sky, the grass, or trees, and yet he is one of the most amazing painters you could ever want to see. They ask him to sit directly across from an old historical building and paint it, and he did. The test in perspective was fantastic. His paintings show every detail, every color unbelievable, the depth perception perfect. How did he do this? When scanning his brain to see what parts were being used compared to normal visual people, there was no difference in the way his brain worked, but remember, the brain is only a mass of tissue and chemicals so it can't take credit for this ability. The mind, however, can tap into universal knowledge, just as every cell holds all truth. The lesson here is that all things are possible if you understand the function of the brain vs. the mind.
Most doctors would tell you that the brain is made up of two hemispheres, the right and left sides. Only a small fraction of the entire brain is used. I see the brain as only a mechanical motor made up of nothing more then a mass of cells and chemicals, it works by giving off chemicals that then connect to other parts of the brain/body in order to work, but it does not have the ability to think or reason, that is the work of the mind.
Skeptical
How the above attributes work is only a tool to allow the mind to work. The brain is nothing more then a storage and retrieval system of information set off by the chemicals the brain produces, but controls the journey between you, the body and the spirit. YOU ARE NOT just the thinking part of you that is called your MIND, you are also divine energy in the form of a "spirit", created by the decisions, actions, deeds, and words created and acted upon because of the mind. (Read more on the difference between Spirit and Soul).
The conscious mind I shall assume all readers understand since it was basically described above, BUT the subconcious mind is a totally different thing.
The subconscious mind is that part of us that controls what we do and how we think without us even being aware of it. Think about seeing a person you don't like walking towards you. All of a sudden you get nervous, upset, and your stomach gets into knots. All of these responses are controlled by your subsconscious mind. Your subsconscious has learned to associate this person with a bad experience.
The purpose of the subconcious mind is to continually prove you right. In otherwords, it fufills your self-prophecy. It does not distinquish between right, wrong, good, bad, lies, or truth. It leaves those decisions to the conscious mind. I would suggest you read the information on "linguistics" to see how the words you use (or as I prefer to call it - put out into the universe) affects your life. What is important is that what you feed your subconscious about your feelings of yourself, others, or experiences will dictate how your life is perceived by your subconscious and then your conscious - if you succeed, or fail in any or all aspects of it. If you continually tell yourself you "can't", your subconscious will send it to your conscious and you will believe it and it will become part of you. If you tell yourself you are a kind, considerate, compassionate person, then the subconscious will send that to the conscious mind which will see it as true and that is what you will become.
Quantum Physics has proven over and over again that universal knowledge/collective consciousness is in every cell of our being. Our brain takes in what it hears and sees, our minds determine our reaction to that information and past experience, but ALL TRUTH lies within the energy that is in us. For spiritual growth, one must look and feel deep inside in order to expand the three dimensional, five sense world we have been taught exists. Up until recently, science has believed the one logo used on this site "The Truth is Out There", but physics is proving that not only is it "out there", it is also "inside us".
The mind has freewill, but to use freewill wisely, one must detach themselves from many fallacies we have learned, and to learn not only to reach outward but to look inward. Our mind reacts to the chemicals produced in our brains and can cause a very distorted approach to life and situations. Habits are created in twenty one days, but they can also be reversed in the same amount of time. The chemicals in our brains can turn people into victimization because anything that happens to them the chemical relates back to a bad experience thus causing the same reaction every time and in most times for the remainder of one's life. It is our responsibility to break these negative habits we have acquired from past experience by putting positive thoughts and intent in its place. One must reach outside our three dimensional and five sense world and realize there is so much more out there, and we can tap into it as long as we allow ourselves to do so, but universal truth lies deep within our very being so one must also take the time to examine themselves.
Another example is a lady by the name of Elisabeth Sulser who not only hears music, but sees it in its various colored frequencies and tastes it at the same time. There are approximately 1,000 people alive today that have this ability. Again it isn't a result of the brain, but a result of the mind, the ability to see and taste what we think is impossible.
Another story tells us about a man who could run a marathon in the North Pole with no shoes and only a pair of shorts on. He has the ability to raise his body temperature despite any cold conditions.
A child who was made fun of at school for not being able to do math ended up being a mathematical genius and his mind could solve mathematical problems faster then any of today's modern technology.
I saw a similarity in all of their lives. The blind man felt different so he kept to himself, the lady couldn't relate to others who could not see or taste music, the marathon man never felt accepted, and the child was made fun of in school at a young age. These conditions made them look inward instead of outward, they were not as caught up in life as most people, and they were able to tap into the universal truths that gave them abilities that only others could wonder about.
We have the ability to be so much better, do so much more, to expand our lives, and our minds by seeing what others have done and then creating our own days by affirming that we are healthy, wealthy, are loved by ones still in the physical realm as well as those who have transitioned, that nothing is impossible, and that we have the inert ability to expand our minds to such greater degrees.
This site for all intensive purposes has been created to teach us how to master these traits, to recognize spirit visitation, to interact with orbs, to see and do so many things out of the ordinary. One does not have to stop living their everyday lives to capture the impossible, they only have to create new habits, to keep their minds open, and to see and feel what is all around us.
