An apport is the transference/movement of an article from one place to another, or an appearance of an article from an unknown source. Although apports are often associated with poltergeist activity (a word that I personally do not like as it has been given a negative meaning at times), so we see it more as an intelligent action from an unseen energy force/spirit. Apports can either be found inside the home or outside depending on what the apport is.
This is a phenomenon that both Robin and I have had a lot of experience with, before and since Robin's transition. There are several photographs taken of items being either moved, or found, and I've listed just a few below as examples:
A gold man's wedding ring that appeared on a little table I have on the front porch. Robin loved wearing toe rings and she had purchased an exact ring many years prior to her transition to wear on her big toe, which I never found in her jewelry box.
I found a bracelet she had as a child in front of the wash machine about three or four months after her transition. I hadn't seen that bracelet in years and completely forgotten about it until I saw it again.
A tea candle found in the dining room on the floor in clear view between the table and an oriental cabinet. I kept my extra stash of tea candles inside the cabinet and you can see the doors are closed. The candles I used on a daily basis were kept in a different room where I have my computer and TV. The strands at the top of the picture is only my hair as it fell in front of the lens and nothing paranormal, however in the second picture I took, there was an orb close to where the tea candle was as can be seen in one of the albums.
A fuzzy headed child's pen, with purple hair, that I never seen before laying on the floor as I entered the house, but was very common (the smurfs), when Robin was a child.
A penny that Robin and I saw as we sat in the living room talking that fell from the ceiling and landed inside one of our shoes.
The finding of a 1949 newspaper in my dining room on the same day I received a DVD of the Scole Experiments that covered the subject of newspaper apports, which happened in April 2011.
A transcript of a book Robin wrote that was missing for about three years which totally broke her heart, but appeared next to her when she woke up from a nap. The book is now published on the internet at: Click Here!
Robin loved the harp and had a gold harp charm on a necklace that was misplaced or lost for a few years and turned up on the end table next to her couch.
Our house was broken into as we were out-of-state when we lived in Tennessee, and all of Robin's gold jewelry was stolen, along with some other things, but the jewelry appeared on top of her dresser when we moved to Michigan.
When my ex-husband was in the service, my mom came to visit us when we were out-of-state, and before she left she handed me a compact of dark powder that she thought our roommate left on her dresser, but it did not belong to the roommate.
While in that same house, we found kitchen spices in the cupboard that we know we didn't buy or didn't even know how to use them as we were very young at the time.
Makeup showed up in my makeup bag which was always zipped and stored in the bathroom cupboard, and didn't belong to anyone living there.
From flowers, to leafs of flowers, to four leaf clovers, coins, and newspapers, jewelry, makeup, are just some of the examples of what people experience showing up from what appears to be no where. Pen on Kitchen Sink
I was very surprised to go into my kitchen and find this blue and red pen sitting perfectly straight on the back edge of my sink next to the sponge. I'd blame my cat for this because he likes to steal and hide all my pens, but I'm one of those "weird" people who only buys a certain type of pen and this isn't it. I have no idea why it was placed there or by whom. This is the second time a pen has shown up.
Toothpick on Hall Floor
I was talking to a friend on the phone and went to turn the A/C up a little when I spotted this toothpick which was laying on the carpet under the thermostat. Although I do have this type of toothpick, I only use them for testing cakes or muffins and I had not baked anything recently where I would have had to use one. There is no way my cat could get into the drawer which is even hard for me to open, and the box of toothpicks is at the extreme back of the drawer behind the silverware holders.
A Book Shows Up
This is quite interpreting since a friend and I were discussing Sir Arthur Conan Doyle over a several day period. About three months ago I had given my thousands of book collection to a collector and searched the house to make sure I hadn't missed any that may have been upstairs and not in the multiple bookshelves downstairs. This week I went into a closet that I use as storage of office supplies, CDs, DVDs, and there on a shelf, at eye level, was this book. I know I have never seen this book. I distinctly remember the two volumes of Doyle's books that I did have that were given to my collector friend. Scanning through this one there were no marks or highlighted sections, a habit both my daughter and I always had when reading.
Beautiful Ring
My nephew and his wife came over for a visit and they periodically get spirit activity. This time my niece showed me a beautiful gold and diamond ring that just appeared on their bedroom dresser. They have not yet taken to see if it is genuine gold and diamonds, but either way they cannot explain where it came from.
Another pencil
There has to be a message in the fact that I get so many pencils and pens showing up everywhere in the house, perhaps I'm being told to write more, or it is my daughter who wrote three books letting me know it is her delivering these items to me. This particular one was found tonight by my nephew when he reached over to get a pen and grabbed this pencil that was sitting in front of the bin I keep small items in.
