A tribute to my beautiful grandson, Anthony Joseph (Eliezer) Morelli (September 22, 1984 - November 17, 1999). He was a "big" presence in a "short" time. May his soul soar high in the Heavens with the beauty and grace of the butterfly.

Where did it come from, the pain, depth, and sorrow,
his unselfish caring of life's sisters and brothers.
A teacher and friend to all who chose to know him,
encouraging, compassionate, and steadfast with whim.
A teenage boy full of life was seen,
but then he died at the age of fifteen.
Where did it come from the pain, depth, and sorrow?
A wise old soul that we were only to borrow.

In memory of my son, Jimmy Bryce Richey, Jr. September 3, 1965 - September 7, 1965
As I held my transitioned son in my arms, praying to God to bring him back, breathing so hard thinking that maybe I could share my breath with him, a very kind nurse told me something I shall never forget. She simply said, "Heaven is like a bouquet of flowers, it takes little buds as well as big blooms to make it beautiful."
I think we have a tendancy to forget that no matter what age a child is when we lose them in the physical sense, be it stillborn, a miscarriage, as an infant, or young in age, the pain remains with us the rest of our life. Wondering what they would have looked like, sounded like, what kind of person they would be. Would they been talented, kind, outgoing or intraverted?
I just know that Jimmy is as much my son today as the day he was born, just like his sister is still my daughter, and her son is still my grandson. We must Honor and Celebrate their lives, and be thankful for the Blessing we were given to have them for the time we did, knowing and believing that they are still with us not only in our hearts and minds, but in spirit form - still watching over us, being part of our lives, and trying to communicate out of their love for us, in the best way they can.

There is an angel watching over you in good times, trouble or stress. His wings are wrapped round about, whispering you are loved and Blessed.
Knowing Dirk, he would lovingly say:
Do not stand by my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am a diamond glint in snow.
I am the unslight on unriped grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the soft starts that shine at night.
Do not stand by my grave and weep,

In loving memory of Paul Dittmer August 27, 1949 - January 8, 2011
Beloved companion of Kathy Kraus, and brother of, Louis Dittmer. They say that time heals everything, but that is not true, it only lets us adapt to the hole in our heart. Tears are shed, the pain so overwhelming, the days and nights only bring the feeling of aloneness and hours, days, and weeks of what appears as only existence, not living. There are no words of comfort. It takes so long to learn to celebrate our loved one's life rather then basking in the pain of losing someone so close to our heart. Paul's untimely and unexpected transition is a shock to anyone who knew him. If peace is to be found, it is not with time, but with the understanding and belief that he is now the purest source of energy, no longer bound by the five human senses, and free to be who he was created to be, a soul created out of love, to have learned all that he should have in this lifetime, and to soar through universal knowledge and truth. Paul is now at peace and is pure love.
